High frequency screen is also called high frequency vibrating screen, which is a kind of separating equipment in ore dressing plants. It separates materials according to their particle sizes. High frequency screen has high efficiency and small amplitude, which is the effective equipment for the screening and grading of fine materials.

High frequency screen results in better separation conditions, which make the material which is less than the separation granularity, especially the large ratio particles get through the sieve together with the pulp.

High frequency screen is widely used for screening or grading operations in ore dressing plant, such as iron, tin, tungsten, tantalum, niobium sand, etc. High frequency ore screen is also used in fine-grained classification operation for the concentrator grinding and classification process, whose screening efficiency can reach to more than 70% under one condition like that the rational feeding concentration, discharging granularity (-200 Mesh size fraction content), and the demand under the screen size to the difference between feed size less than 30 percent under the conditions.

The Advantages and Benefits of High Frequency Screen

High efficiency, small amplitude and high frequency of screening; it differs from the conventional screens with breaking of the surface tension of pulp and high speed vibration on sieve cover and accelerates the separating of large-density useful mines and increases the contacting probability of the materials smaller than output granularity and the sieve pore. Therefore, it results into good condition and makes the materials smaller than the output granularity, especially the big-density materials and pulp get through the sieve pore together.

Strcure of the high frequency screen

High frequency vibrating ore screen consists of vibration exciter, ore pulp distributor, screen frame, machine frame, suspension springs and sieve, etc. This series screen is always used in processing minerals such as ferrous metals including hematite magnet and nonferrous metals including lead, zinc, gold and silver, etc

Working principle of the high frequency screen

The main working part of the high frequency screen is a rotor with a hammer (also called a hammerhead). The motor drives the rotor to do high-speed rotation in the crushing cavity. The materials in the upper feeding mouth get into the machine, and then get beat, impact, shorn, ground and finally crushed by the high-speed moving hammer. A sieve plate with apertures is installed at the bottom of the rotor, through which the materials with a size less than the aperture size pass and the coarse materials with greater size than aperture remain on the sieve plate getting continuous beating and grinding from the hammer and finally come out from the sieve plat.
